Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Leo' might have grossed Rs 500 Cr worldwide but the staggering financial success hasn't stopped him from embracing the audience's criticism of the Dasara release. The 'Vikram' director commented that he does understand why the audience have been saying that the second half of Thalapathy Vijay's movie had a pacing issue.

Cine-goers feel that the 'Kaithi' director has discplayed his humility by accepting that 'Leo' does suffer from negatives. A Telugu netizen commented that directors like Boyapati Sreenu, who justify even ultra-loud scores, need to learn a thing or two from their Kollywood counterpart.

There is another lesson that Kanagaraj holds. He plans the shoot and post-production of his movies to the T and avoids inordinate delays. His work ethic is what ensured the timely release of 'Vikram', thereby fuelling a revival of Kamal Haasan's career and the resuscitation of 'Indian 2'.

Kanagaraj is slated to do 'Kaithi 2' and 'Rolex', among other big-ticket action thrillers, in the coming years. He is also going to make a movie with Prabhas. It won't be a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe.
