Nani uses Vijay Deverakonda-ism to make a statement

Nani today promoted his upcoming movie 'Hi Nanna' while releasing its song, 'Ammadi'. When a youngster asked him how he has managed to raise the bar and enjoy stardom by doing "offbeat films", the 'Jersey' actor used the most recent Vijay Deverakonda-ism to make an assertive statement.

The 'Ante Sundaraniki' actor stated that one doesn't necessarily have to do an actioner or a masala film to deliver blockbusters. He used Vijay's 'Airanevanchalaenti' one-liner from the recent 'Family Star' glimpse in saying so. "Action movies eh cheyala enti," Nani said.

This can be seen in two ways. The Natural Star was generous enough to wittingly or unwittingly promote 'Family Star'! If seen from a somewhat juicy angle, it might be insinuated that Nani was hitting out at 'Liger', the pan-India actioner Vijay clung to.

'Hi Nanna', directed by newcomer Shouyuv, will hit the cinemas on December 7. The film stars 'Sita Ramam' beauty Mrunal Thakur as the heroine.
