Shah Rukh Khan continues to outperform himself at the box office. SRK's current and previous films are in competition with Jawan overtaking Pathaan's Weekend 2 business, a day after it demolished the Rs 400 crore record set by the earlier film. Sunday's earnings of over Rs 34 crore brought Jawan's total up to Rs 430.44 crore nett, reported trade analyst Taran Adarsh who described the film as "not merely a record breaker but also a record maker." Jawan just completed its second weekend in theatres in which it made over Rs 82 crore versus Pathaan's Rs 63 crore.

"Jawan is a box office dinosaur, crushes every record that stands tall in record books. Overtakes Pathaan Weekend 2 biz by leaps and bounds (Pathaan: Rs 63.50 cr; Jawan: Rs 82.46 cr). Not merely a record-breaker, but also a record-maker. (Week 2) Friday 18.10 cr, Saturday 30.10 cr, Sunday 34.26 cr. Total: Rs 430.44 cr. Hindi. India biz," posted Taran Adarsh.

Jawan is also setting new benchmarks with its Tamil and Telugu versions.

Jawan released on September 7 to coincide with Janmashtami and has been resetting the box office record by record since. Many of these records were set by Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan earlier this year – Jawan made Bollywood's fastest Rs 400 crore last weekend, beating Pathaan by a day.

In an earlier post, Taran Adarsh broke down Week 2's numbers at the national chains:

Jawan, directed by Atlee, stars Shah Rukh Khan in a double role playing army officer Vikram Rathore and his son Azad. Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi are cast as Azad's love interest and the film's big bad, respectively. Deepika Padukone's special appearance has been received with great acclaim and affection as has Sanjay Dutt's cameo. Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Ridhi Dogra and Lehar Khan play pivotal roles.
