'Love Me' will be funny, scary, novel: Makers

"The heart that loves will race in fear (sic)," the makers of 'Love Me' tweeted, plugging their film's Teaser. The film is led by Ashish Reddy and Vaishnavi Chaitanya.

Director Arun Bhimavarapu has made a ghost love. The teaser shows the male protagonist itching to befriend a female ghost, make her fall in love with him, and eventually make love to him. He does everything against the wishes of Vaishnavi's character. If the new-age filmmaker's knack for twists is anything to go by, we can probably expect Ashish's character to be a ghost in the garb of a human. Or, perhaps, there is a twist pertaining to the ghost.

Produced by Harshith Reddy, Hanshitha Reddy, and Naga Mallidi, the film's music is by MM Keeravaani. PC Sreeram and Avinash Kolla are its cinematographer and production designer, respectively.

Speaking at the event, Ashish Reddy said, "In this film, I will love someone knowing that it is a ghost. Girls are divine, not demons. The movie 'Love Me: If You Dare' will appeal to college students."

Vaishnavi Chaitanya said, "'Love Me' is a scary, romantic love story. I have not seen such a plot point and story till now. This film will transport you to a new world. When you watch it in theatres, you will find it both funny and scary."

'Love Me' will head to theatres on April 27.
