'Manjummel Boys', the survival thriller film written and directed by Chidambaram, stars Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, and Balu Varghese. The film will start streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar from May 3 in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi.
The film was released in Telugu and Tamil as well. In both languages, it was a hit. It was distributed across the Telugu States by Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar Writings, and Primeshow Entertainment. 'MB' was released by Sree Gokulam Movies through Dream Big Films in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. In foreign countries, it was released by Phars Film Co. The backing of big names helped it find traction at the box office.
The film's music is by Sushin Shyam. With cinematography by Shyju Khalid, it is edited by Vivek Harshan.
"In 2024, it emerged as the top-grossing Malayalam film both domestically and internationally, securing its position as one of the most successful Indian films of the year," the makers said recently.
