The makers shared the teaser of Bawaal on Wednesday and it is headlined by Varun Dhawan, who plays the role of Ajay Dixit, and Janhvi Kapoor who stars as Nisha. The video begins with a clipping of an utterly smitten Varun Dhawan, who can't take his eyes off Janhvi Kapoor. We get glimpses of their love story - they dance together, spend time together and all is well until Janhvi discovers a truth about her relationship. Janhvi Kapoor begins to question her relationship with Varun and she says in the teaser: "I took so long to understand our relationship that by the time I understood, it lost its significance." The teaser ends with a war-like setup with Janhvi chanting out Varun's name and trying to reach him as they stand separated by a wall. Every love story has its own war and their tale is not any different. Guess we will have to wait till the trailer's release to find out what that is.
Sharing the teaser of the film, Varun Dhawan captioned the post, "Love never comes easy, get ready for some Bawaal, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Nitesh Tiwari. #BawaalOnPrime, July 21."

Ahead of the teaser's release, the makers shared this still of Janhvi Kapoor curled up in Varun Dhawan's arms and the caption on it read, "Tum pyaar karne dete toh tumhe kitna pyaar karte (If you let me love, how much I would have loved you)."
A few weeks ago, the makers shared the first poster from the film on social media and the caption on it read, "Badlega sabke dilon ka haal, kyunki duniya bhar mein hone wala hain Bawaal (the condition of everyone's heart will change, because bawaal is going to happen all over the world). Releasing on Prime Video India in more than 200 countries and territories! #BawaalGoesGlobal. Presenting Sajid Nadiadwala's Bawaal on Prime directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Coming to you this July on Prime Video India."
Bawaal has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and it has been co-produced by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. The film is slated to release on streaming giant Amazon Prime Video on July 21.
