Zoya Akhtar's The Archieshas been making all the right noises ever since the project was announced. The excitement around the project comes as no surprise, given that it is an adaptation of one of the most popular comics in the world and is also the debut film of several star kids. We are talking about Suhana Khan (Shah Rukh Khan's daughter), Khushi Kapoor (the late Sridevi's daughter), and Agastya Nanda (Amitabh -Jaya Bachchan's grandson). Now, the film is making headlines again as the cast of The Archies will be heading to Brazil for the Netflix TUDUM event. Proud mom Shweta Bachchan confirmed her son Agastya and team's presence at the highly-awaited Netflix fan event in a sweet Instagram post.
Sharing a photo of the primary cast, Shweta Bachchan wrote, “Have you heard? The gang's all here and they're headed to Brazil. Congratulations and knock 'em dead.” In response, Zoya Akhtar dropped a happy face emoji, while Maheep Kapoor, Seema Kiran Sajdeh, Bhavana Pandey, and Sonali Bendre dropped heart emojis. Fashion designer Prabal Gurung wrote, “I cannot wait.”

Meanwhile, Suhana Khan also shared the happy news on social media with the official announcement video by Netflix that features big names from around the world including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gal Gadot, Alia Bhatt, and Chris Hemsworth. In the caption, Suhana Khan wrote, "From Riverdale to Sao Paulo, catch the #TheArchies gang at the TUDUM global fan event on 18th June!"Shweta Bachchan replied to the post saying, “Yay.” Shanaya Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Ananya Birla, and Deanne Panday dropped heart emojis. Navya Nanda too said, “Yaay [heart emojis].”
In the video shared on Netflix's social media handles, Alia Bhatt, dressed in a black dress, says, "We can't wait for you to see what we have in store." The caption to the post reads, “ARE YOU READY? The BIGGEST announcements of the year are coming your way and it's happening LIVE! Catch the #TUDUM live stream on Netflix India's YouTube channel on JUNE 18."
