Mouni Roy has a lot of reasons to smile. And, most of these reasons can be traced back to her wedding to Suraj Nambiar, which took place just last week. The actress, who is still revelling in her bridal joy, has been sharing pictures and videos from the various ceremonies and festivities, which were all intimate affairs. On Wednesday, fans of Mouni Roy were in for a treat when she shared a video of her post-wedding pool party. Yes, you read that right. After not one but two traditional wedding ceremonies, the couple chose to unwind with their friends and family at a lovely pool party.
Sharing a highlights video of the amazing party, Mouni Roy wrote, “My bunch of fools.” The video features the happy couple laughing, dancing and having a merry time with their loved ones. That's not all. While Suraj Nambiar was dunked in the pool by his boy gang, Mouni Roy could not stop herself from dancing and clicking pictures. Amid laughter, dancing and food, the couple also found time to steal a kiss, which is the visual that the clip ends with. Did someone say “couple goals”, yet?
Also spotted in the video are Mouni Roy's close friends, Arjun Bijlani and Mandira Bedi, among others.
Before Mouni Roy enthralled us with scenes from her pool party, she also shared a video of her haldi ceremony. While the pool party was all about letting your hair down, the haldi ceremony involved some traditional rituals. This time around too the couple only had eyes for each other as they sat covered in flowers and haldi paste. Sharing the video, Mouni Roy wrote, “Happy haldi faces,” with a bunch of flower emojis.
Sharing more glimpses, Mouni Roy also shared images from the haldi function. While serenading each other with flowers and shaking a leg together, Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar look like a match made in heaven.
Before this, Mouni Roy hadalso shared snippets of her sangeet ceremony. Given the trained dancer that she is, Mouni Roy took the stage by storm as she danced her heart out. The couple was also all smiles as they watched their friends and family put up some inspired performances.
We also cannot get over how lovely the couple looked at the wedding ceremonies – the couple had both Bengali and Malayali rituals. Sharing a video of the couple's Kerala-style wedding, Mouni Roy wrote, “So blessed…So so happy.”
The couple got married on January 27 in Goa. In terms of work, Mouni Roy will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
