EXCLUSIVE: Kangana Ranaut started shooting for Tejas in Mumbai today; Will later film in Delhi & Rajasthan

Kangana Ranaut is on a roll. After wrapping up AL Vijay’s Thalaivi in December, the actress immediately started working on Razneesh Ghai’s Dhaakad, which she wrapped up in February. Pinkvilla now has an exclusive update on another Kangana starrer. We have learnt that the National Award winning actress started shooting for filmmaker Sarvesh Mewara’s Tejas from today in Mumbai. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Ranaut plays an Air Force Pilot in the film, which reportedly is inspired by a landmark event.
“Kangana has begun shooting for Tejas, and she is filming at a bungalow in Mumbai. She will be shooting in the city for four to five days, after which the team will move to Delhi and Rajasthan for subsequent schedules. In fact, a large portion of the film will be shot in the Capital,” informs a source close to the development. Kangana has prepared a lot for this film. Team Tejas had even met at Kangana’s residence on Sunday for a reading session.
“Very special Sunday.... my Tejas team came over for readings, loved hosting my lovely new crew, now for coming months this is my family #Tejas. Happy journey guys,” she wrote on Twitter, also sharing a few snaps from their meeting. 
On February 27, she had also added on Twitter, “Playing a Sikh soldier in Tejas, I never knew until I read my character full name on my uniform today, had an instant smile on my face, our longings and love has a way of manifesting, universe speaks to us in more ways than we understand.”
