Kriti Sanon is over the moon and why shouldn't she be, the actress just won the coveted National Award for Best Actress for her role in the film Mimi. The actress, who shared the honour with Alia Bhatt, hosted a success party to celebrate her big win with her industry friends on Sunday. Some inside pictures shared by celebrity designer Manish Malhotra on his Instagram feed, show Kriti Sanon, having the time of her life with friends Varun Sharma, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Nitesh Tiwari, Mukesh Chhabra and Mimi producer Dinesh Vijan. In one picture, we can see Manish Malhotra posing with the woman of the hour herself, Kriti, alongside the caption, "Gorgeous Kriti Sanon celebrating the national award." The other picture has Kriti and her friends coming together for a selfie. "Celebrating Kriti Sanon," wrote the fashion designer in the caption.
Kriti Sanon glowed in a black outfit which she teamed up with golden hoops.

Mimi star Kriti Sanon truly won big at the 69th National Films Awards, which were announced on August 24th. To celebrate her National Award win, the actress visited Mumbai's Siddhivinayak Temple on Saturday. Kriti was pictured distributing sweets to the paparazzi stationed outside. Kriti Sanon was accompanied by her family - her mom Geeta, dad Rahul and sister Nupur. The actress was dressed in her festive best for the occasion. See the pictures from her visit here:

Soon after the announcements came through, Kriti Sanon shared a heartfelt post on her Instagram feed congratulating Alia Bhatt, who also won the Best Actress Award for Gangubai Kathiawadi, wrote, "Congratulations Alia. So, so well deserved. I've always admired your work and I'm too excited that I get to share this huge moment with you! Yaayyiie. Big hug. Let's celebrate."
