The 2017 Tamil film 'Maayavan', which starred Sundeep Kishan and Lavanya Tripathi, will now have a sequel six years after its release. Kollywood director CV Kumar has teamed up with Kishan yet again.
To be made as a science fiction thriller, the film will go on the floors in the month of November. The sequel to 'Maayavan' will be produced by Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainments.
Santhosh Narayanan, who is currently doing Prabhas' 'Kalki 2898 AD', is composing the music. Karthik K Thillai (cinematography) is on board.
The film will see a David vs. Goliath fight between a commoner and a supervillain. Presented by Adventures International Pvt Ltd, the film is Anil Sunkara's 26th outing.
Sundeep Kishan awaits the release of 'Ooru Peru Bhairavakona' later this year. Directed by Vi Anand, it stars Kavya Thapar and Varsha Bollamma as heroines.
