After collaborating on Jeet, Judwaa, Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Jaan-E-Mann and Kick, Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala are all set for their seventh collaboration, the Farhad Samji directed Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. The much awaited comedy with emotions and drama is all set to go on floors by mid-March at a massive set in Mumbai and we hear the duo of Salman and Sajid have locked a release date for this film. According to our sources, the film will hit the big screen during the Eid 2023 weekend.
"Salman and Sajid's last collaboration, Kick, was also an Eid release and it proved to be the first 200 crore grosser for both of them. They have now decided to bring their next too on Eid and an official announcement is round the corner. The film also features South star, Venkatesh and Pooja Hegde in key roles," revealed a source close to the development. The shoot begins in Mumbai by March 15, and the team will be shooting it at multiple locations over a period of four to five months. The shoot is expected to be wrapped up by September this year following which it moves on to the post production stage. 
Apart from Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, Salman also has Tiger 3 under his kitty. The film is on the last leg of it's shoot and is now expected to release this year itself. Salman is also in talks for multiple other films including No Entry 2, Black Tiger and Dabangg 4. Talking of Sajid, the filmmaker is all gearing up to commence shooting for three films - The Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's yet untitled film directed by Sameer Vidwans, the Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer with Nitesh Tiwari and Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. He also has another film with Varun Dhawan, an action entertainer helmed by Ravi Udyawar.
Talking of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, the film is said to be a family comedy revolving around Salman, Venkatesh and Pooja Hegde. Three more actors are expected to come on board to play Salman's brothers in the film, whereas the hunt is on to get an actress from the South to play Venky's romantic interest.
