The pre-Independence phase this August is going to witness the release of Chiranjeevi's 'Bholaa Shankar' on August 11, Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' on August 10, and 'Ustaad' on August 12. The following week was supposed to be important as well, but three noteworthy movies have been postponed indefinitely.
The first one is 'Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty'. UV Creations is rumouredly thinking of releasing this movie, starring Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty, in September.
The second postponement is Vaisshnav Tej's 'Aadikeshava'. Sithara Entertainments has called off its release for now. A new date is expected to be made official in September. The Seema-based action drama might not release before October.
Then there is Srikanth Addala's mass action drama 'Peddha Kapu'. This film's promotions have been suspended because its release has been called off.
A few small films are going to make the most of the opportunity. Sohel Ryan's 'Mr. Pregnant', 'Prem Kumar', and Regina Cassandra's 'Nene Naa' have been confirmed to be released on August 18.
