Varun Dhawan is currently in Serbia shooting for the Indian instalment of the web series Citadel with directors Raj & DK, and co-star Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Now, the actor has treated fans to a carousel of images from Serbia in which he is seen having a fun time with the team. The first picture features Varun Dhawan on set with director Krishna DK. While the actor is seated on a chair labelled “Star”, DK is seated on a chair labelled “Producer”. This is followed by a selfie of Varun and DK with actors Kay Kay Menon and Saqib Saleem. In one of the images, Varun Dhawan is seen enjoying a dessert with Samantha. We also see Varun Dhawan practising archery in one of the uploads. The carousel ends with an image of Varun Dhawan, Samantha, Raj & DK enjoying a scenic view in Serbia.
A few days ago, Varun Dhawan and Samantha made headlines when a video of them dancing to Samantha's hit song Oo Antava from the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1 in Serbia went viral on social media. Several fan pages of the stars shared the clip of them dancing to the superhit Telugu track.

Citadel is a multi-series with productions from India, Italy and Mexico. The primary American version stars Richard Madden alongside Priyanka Chopra. The Indian chapter will mark Varun Dhawan's web series debut and first collaboration with Samantha.
Varun Dhawan and Samantha had earlier attended the global premiere of Citadel. At the event, the actress spoke about what it means to be a part of the franchise. “Truly humbled to be amongst some of the world's best at the Global Premiere of Citadel in London. The camaraderie, the creativity, the talent, the love, the shared vision, the dream of the people in that room was so inspiring and invigorating that I feel truly lucky and blessed to be part of this team and the Citadel Universe," she said.
Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan will also be seen in Bawaal with Janhvi Kapoor. Samantha, on the other hand, will be seen next in Khushi with Vijay Deverakonda.
