Bad reviews can't hurt 'Saindhav', suggests Sailesh Kolanu

Director Sailesh Kolanu today implied that 'Saindhav' is unfazed by the avalanche of negative reviews swarming around. The action thriller was released in theatres on Saturday.

In his tweet today, the 'HIT' director suggested that the Venkatesh-starrer is slowly gaining traction with the audience. “A good review cannot save a bad film and a bad review cannot damage a good film," he wrote on Twitter.

"A good film will find the audience it deserves, no matter what. My faith in the word of mouth and the audience’s sensibility is being thoroughly restored now," Kolanu wrote, sounding optimistic. He indicated that film critics have misjudged his latest box-office outing.

"The influx of audience has been steady despite new releases and the bashing that 'Saindhav' has been facing online (some are genuinely great feedback, which I am religiously noting down)," Kolanu wrote.

The film co-stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Baby Sara and others.
