Aditya Roy Kapur, who is at present the talk of the town, courtesy of his riveting performance in the web series The Night Manager, spoke up about his experience when he was subjected to a kiss from a fan, a few days ago. In an interview with The Indian Express, Aditya Roy Kapur was asked what he felt when a viral video of a fan trying to kiss him set social media abuzz. Deliberating on his experience, the actor said, "To be honest, I didn't get too frazzled by it. It was just something I had to handle at the moment. She was strong, let's put it like that, so I did have to handle it. But I can understand it. I don't look at it from the eye where I'll criticize it or say it's wrong. I can understand, that this person is feeling this affection and I guess that's how she wanted to express it. At that moment I just felt it needed to be handled. But I didn't lose any sleep over it or give it more (thought) than it needed,".
A few days ago, during The Night Manager screening in Mumbai, the Fitoor actor was left in a tough spot after his female fan tried to kiss him. However, the actor gracefully managed the situation. In a video, the actor can be seen happily posing with his female fans when one of them tries to kiss Aditya. She can be seen trying to wrap her arms around the actor (who seems a bit uncomfortable) and hold his face. Not creating any scene, Aditya Roy Kapur simply removes her hand around his neck, but she anyway kisses Aditya's hand. The actor couldn't help but smile. Take a look at the video here.
Interestingly, incidences of fans breaching the social boundary of Bollywood celebs are not uncommon. Last month, Sara Ali Khan was kissed by a fan on her hand. The 24-year-old actress, who stepped out for a photo-op with her fans was shocked after the incident took place. Sara, who was reasonably upset with the fans' behavior, moved away from him. The Night Manager is a crime thriller that serves as a remake of the 2016 British series going by the same name, based on the novel by John Le Carre of the same name. The series also stars Tillotama Shome, Ravi Behl, and Saswata Chatterjee in pivotal roles. The web series is slated to premiere on Disney+Hotstar on February 17, 2023.
