Seatbelts are well and truly off for Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan which is now has the Rs 450 crore mark in sight. The film is about to hit its third weekend in theatres around the world and is expected to continue stacking up the crores, especially since it has no real competition in terms of new releases. In 16 days, Pathaan has made Rs 442.50 crore at the domestic box office, reports trade analyst Taran Adarsh. Pathaan, produced by Yash Raj Films, released on January 25 in over 100 countries.
"Pathaan packs a solid punch in Week 2. Absence of major films this week should prove advantageous, especially on (third) Saturday and Sunday. (Week 2) Friday Rs 13.50 crore, Saturday Rs 22.50 crore, Sunday Rs 27.50 crore, Monday Rs 8.25 crore, Tuesday Rs 7.50 crore, Wednesday Rs 6.50 crore, Thursday Rs 5.75 crore. Total: Rs 442.50 crore. Hindi. India biz," tweeted Taran Adarsh. Weekday ticket prices were lowered by YRF this week.
The total earned so far by the Tamil and Talugu dubs of Pathaan is Rs 16.40 crore, with Rs 20 lakh collected on Thursday. The combined business of all three versions of the film – Hindi, Tamil and Telugu – at the domestic box office is Rs 458.90 crore.

Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, is set in YRF's Spy Universe. Shah Rukh Khan stars as a RAW agent up against terrorist for hire Jim, played by John Abraham. Deepika Padukone is cast as ISI agent Rubai, as deadly as she is drop dead gorgeous. Salman Khan makes a special appearance as Tiger, an agent from a separate set of films in the Spy Universe.
