Shilpa Shetty is known and loved for her fitness routines and yoga videos on social media. And while the actress-entrepreneur is nursing a broken leg and is wheel-chair bound for recovery, she does not believe in staying away from yoga. In a video that has left fans in awe of Shilpa Shetty's dedication, the actress is seen performing yoga while sitting on the wheel chair with her injured leg propped up with a recovery belt around it. The clip begins with her saying, “Pair toota hai, himmat nahi. Yoga se hi hoga. So, let's do some stretches,” and proceeds to her performing some simple yet useful exercises.

Sharing details in the caption, she said, “After 10 days of resting in, I realised… no reason is good enough to not stretch. So, even though the injury needs me to take it easy for a few weeks, inactivity can make you rusty. So… I decided to practise the routine of Parvatasana, followed by Utthita Parsvakonasana, and concluded with Bharadvajasana.”

Explaining the use of the above-mentioned poses, Shilpa Shetty said, “Anyone who is unable to sit on the floor, or is suffering from knee or back pain can do these stretches on the chair. These asanas are beneficial to strengthen and  improve the flexibility of the spine & the back muscle, and are also helpful for the digestive system. However, the third pose ‘Bharadvajasana (twisting pose)' should be avoided during pregnancy.”

End the caption on a motivational note, Shilpa Shetty said, “Don't let anything get in the way of your routine. You can overcome the biggest hurdles simply by believing YOU CAN and having the WILL to change things.”

Replying to the post, designer Sussanne Khan said: “More power, Grit and love to you darling Supergirl S… you will bounce back stronger and better!” Choreographer Geeta Kapur said, “Pls pls take care and get well soon.”

Shilpa Shetty broke her leg while shooting for Rohit Shetty's Indian Police Force. Sharing an image of herself sitting in a wheelchair, the actress wrote: "They said, Roll camera action - "break a leg!" I took it literally." The 47-year-old continued, "Out of action for 6 weeks, but I'll be back soon stronger and better. Till then, dua mein yaad rakhiyega. Prayers always work. With gratitude, Shilpa Shetty Kundra."

Replying to the post, actor R Madhavan said, “Oye James Bondesss…Pls take it easy and get well soon…Hope it's not too bad.” Actress Sophie Choudry said, “Omg!! Get well soon Superwoman Shilpa.” Actor Nikitin Dheer said, “Get fit soon!”

A day before announcing her injury, Shilpa Shetty shared a behind-the-scenes moment from the sets of the show. The clip features Rohit Shetty filming a fighting scene while hanging from a harness. In the caption, Shilpa Shetty wrote, "Never a dull moment on sets of Indian Police Force! Raw and real! Don't miss Rohit Shetty on the harness."
