EXCLUSIVE: Sara Ali Khan to start preparing for The Immortal Ashwatthama from April; Deets Inside
The Immortal Ashwathama features Vicky Kaushal in the titular role. It is being directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala
Pinkvilla had earlier revealed Vicky Kaushal’s prep details for Aditya Dhar’s The Immortal Ashwathama. We had reported that the actor is already sweating it out in the gym to get the look required for this film, and will soon start training in archery, sword-fighting, spear-fighting and martial arts. We now have some more updates on the movie’s leading lady Sara Ali Khan’s prep. We have heard that the actress will start prepping for this Ronnie Screwvala produced action-based superhero film from April.
“Sara will be seen in some hardcore action sequences in the film and will start training for the same from April. She will learn a few forms of martial arts, including MMA, and will learn to ride a horse too. Vicky too will be a part of these sessions, and their training is expected to go on for three months,” informs a source close to the development. If all goes as planned, Vicky and Sara will start shooting for The Immortal Ashwathama from June. The makers want to shoot the film abroad.
Aditya had unveiled the film’s poster on January 11. “Raising the bar higher for the superhero genre not only in India but across the world, this film is a high-concept visual spectacle in the making. Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan will next be seen in Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re with Akshay Kumar and Dhanush. Vicky too has an interesting line up of films with Sardar Udham and Vijay Krishna Acharya’s untitled next.
