Crime comedy laced with thrills sells well at the box-office. It's a rare genre that only a few filmmakers have dared to attempt so far.
A crime comedy thriller with Venkat as the hero was launched on Sunday. Raj Talluri is directing the untitled movie that also features Ravinder Reddy, Aditya, Mahesh Vitta, Vedvika, Chandini Rao, and Subhasree.
The launch event was graced by actor-politician Ali, veteran director YVS Chowdhary, and wannabe star producer Ram Talluri 'Virata Parvam' director Venu Udugula was also present.
Set to go on the floors a week or so from now, the film comes with a nice concept, the makers said. Producers Praveen Reddy and Vasu Deva are confident of pulling off a hit.
As per the makers, the film promises an excellent script.
