Sandeep Reddy Vanga outclasses Atlee. Dot!

As 'Animal' breaks into the Rs 700-Cr club, the die-hard fans of Sandeep Reddy Vanga are having their best time making fun of the Tamil film industry. The reason they are targeting Kollywood is that a section of Tamil movie buffs and influential social media handles have been advocating the view that Lokesh Kanagaraj and Atlee are far superior to Vanga.

"With 'Animal', Vanga has outclassed the highest grosser from Kollywood," Telugu movie buffs, who have been going gaga over the 'Arjun Reddy' director, today held.

In a way, Atlee can't match Vanga, whose style is a tad edgy and even original. Atlee has excessively relied on the Shankar formula in telling larger-than-life stories. 'Jawan' was barely pathbreaking. Yes, it did mint Rs 1000 Cr but it didn't present any new screenplay style. 'Animal' will influence some directors to write hero characters in a certain provocative manner.

Lokesh Kanagaraj compares well with Vanga, though. He has changed the way action thrillers have been imagined down South (along with Prashanth Neel).
