It is legendary actor Sunil Dutt's birth anniversary today (June 6) and on the occasion, his son Sanjay Dutt has shared a heartfelt post on social media. The post entails a collage of two images from the film Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. which features Sunil Dutt and Sanjay Dutt in the role of father and son. The two photos feature the father-son duo sharing a tender moment on screen. Along with the images, Sanjay Dutt penned a moving tribute to his father. In the caption, he wrote, “Your belief and love helped make me who I am today. You were, are and will always be my hero. Happy birthday, Dad,” with a red heart emoji.
Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. was the last film that Sunil Dutt starred in and is considered to be one of Sanjay Dutt's finest films.

A few days ago, Sanjay Dutt also shared a special post on the occasion of his mother Nargis' birth anniversary. Sharing a throwback image of himself along with his mom, the actor said, “Your smile kept me strong, your words kept me grounded, and your spirit lifted me at my lowest. You were the best I could ever ask for. Happy Birthday, Ma.” The monochrome image shows the legendary actress looking at her teenage son fondly.
Replying to the post, Sanjay Dutt's daughter, Trishala Dutt said, “Love you, dad.” Sanjay Dutt's wife, Maanayata Dutt dropped two heart emojis in the comments section.
Before that, on the occasion of Sunil Dutt's death anniversary (May 25), Sanjay Dutt shared a throwback image with his father. In the caption, he wrote, “Through thick and thin, you were always there to guide and protect me. You were my strength, inspiration and support in every need... the best a son could ask for. You will always be in my heart Dad, I miss you!”
On the occasion of Mother's Day last month, Sanjay Dutt shared yet another throwback picture with his parents. “Ma, you taught me all about hard work, patience, humility, kindness, forgiveness, understanding... and how to have fun along the way. Thank you will never be enough but, I'm thankful for having had you as my mother. #HappyMothersDay to mine and to all the Mothers out there," the star wrote in the caption.
Nargis and Sunil Dutt married in 1958 and had three children – Sanjay Dutt, Priya Dutt and Namrata Dutt. On the work front, Sanjay Dutt was last seen in Samrat Prithviraj.
