EXCLUSIVE: Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur to shoot their next from April; To be shot in Hyderabad, Kashmir
This as yet-untitled romantic period drama will be directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The film was announced on Dulquer Salmaan’s birthday last year
Pinkvilla had earlier reported that Mrunal Thakur has been roped in to play the leading lady opposite Dulquer Salmaan in director Hanu Raghavapudi’s as yet-untitled romantic period drama. Reportedly, Dulquer plays a Lieutenant in the film, which was announced on the actor’s birthday last year. Now, we have another exciting update on this much awaited movie. We have learnt that Dulquer and Mrunal will start shooting for this film from April, and the pre-production work on it is going on in full swing.
“Dulquer and Mrunal will shoot for this film in Hyderabad, Kashmir and a few other locations that are still being finalised. Meanwhile, the actors have started prepping for the film. While Dulquer is gearing up to play Lieutenant Ram, Mrunal is taking Telugu lessons. They will also be meeting for the reading sessions closer to the shooting date,” informs a source close to the development. While the music will be composed by Vishal Chandrashekhar, Swapna Cinema is producing the film and Vyjayanthi Movies is presenting it.
When the film was announced in July 2020, filmmaker Hanu had written on Twitter, “Excited to collaborate with @dulQuer @SwapnaCinema @VyjayanthiFilms to explore the love saga from the pages of history. A classified love story #declassifies soon”. 
Meanwhile, Mrunal who was earlier seen in Super 30 with Hrithik Roshan and in Batla House with John Abraham, will next be seen in Jersey with Shahid Kapoor, in Toofan with Farhan Akhtar, in Pippa with Ishaan Khattar and Priyanshu Painyuli, and in Dhamaka with Kartik Aaryan.
