The star couple can be seen twinning and winning in the stunning pictures. Richa Chadha wore a white sharara set that she accentuated with statement jewelry. Ali Fazal complemented her in a matching sherwani, designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Adding their wedding hashtag #RiAli, Ali Fazal wrote: "Ek Daur hum bhi hain. Ek silsila tum bhi ho." Richa Chadha, sharing the pictures, wrote: "I got you."

Before starting the wedding festivities, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha shared this voice note, in which they said: "We have a message for you. Two years ago, we formalised our union and just then the pandemic hit us all, pressing a pause button on our celebrations and life." Ali Fazal added, "Like the rest of the nation, we two were struck by personal tragedies one after another. Now as we all enjoy this window of respite we are finally celebrating with our families and friends and we are so very touched for all the love and blessings that are coming our way. We offer you nothing but our love. Thank you."

They confirmed their relationship status in the year 2017, when the 3 Idiots actor Instagrammed a selfie with Richa Chadha, saying: "Hai toh hai." Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, co-stars of Fukrey, also shared screen space in Fukrey Returns. They also had extended cameos in Netflix's Call My Agent: Bollywood.
