Ajith wrong, Prabhas and others right

Tamil superstar Ajith awaits the theatrical release of 'Thunivu'. The 'Viswasam' actor has stated that he won't be promoting the movie. Ajith never participates in promotions and this is not the first time he is skipping them.

"A good film is promotion by itself!! - unconditional love! Ajith (sic)," the 'Vivegam' actor has been quoted as saying.

Ajith is not the only Tamil superstar who doesn't promote his movies extensively. Thalapathy Vijay, too, doesn't do much promotion beyond appearing at his film's pre-release event.

Ajith's attitude towards publicity is hypocritical, Netizens feel. Big-ticket films spend crores of rupees in terms of Ads on TV, etc. If publicity of that sort is essential to push a film, what stops Ajith from ending his self-imposed ban on promotions?

Netizens are also contrasting the attitude of the Ajith-Vijay duo with how Telugu stars like Prabhas, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Vijay Deverakonda and even Chiranjeevi go out of their way to promote their movies.
