Cannes debutante Esha Gupta has shared a set of behind-the-scenes pictures of her appearance on the red carpet this week. Esha, who walked the red carpet ahead of the opening ceremony, wore a white leg-baring Nicolas Jebran with a floral arrangement on the bodice. The photos she posted on Instagram show Esha walking down a staircase dressed for the red carpet, helped by stylist Victor Blanco to whom she gives a shout-out in her caption. Other photos show Esha getting hair and makeup done and close-ups of her ring and shoes. "To the man, my friend Victor Blanco, couldn't have done it without you," Esha Gupta captioned her post.

Esha Gupta is attending the Cannes Film festival for the first time as part of the delegation from the Indian government. She walked the red carpet on Day 1 ahead of the opening ceremony and the premiere of the opening film, Jeanne Du Barry starring Johnny Depp.

Sara Ali Khan and Manushi Chhillar, also making their Cannes debuts, walked the red carpet on Day 1 as well, as did Urvashi Rautela who is attending the film festival for the second time. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is also at Cannes – it's her 21st year – and is expected on the red carpet tonight. Mrunal Thakur is there as well but hasn't been senn on on the red carpet yet. Anushka Sharma and Aditi Rao Hydari are also to make their Cannes debuts this year as is Sunny Leone who stars in Anurag Kashyap's Kennedy, one of the four Indian films screening at the festival.
Esha Gupta, who began as a model, made her Bollywood debut in 2012 film Jannat 2. Her credits include Rustom, Baadshaho and Total Dhamaal.
