The Tamil-language movie 'Kida', directed by RA Venkat and produced by Sravanthi Ravikishore, has been picked for screening at the International Film festival of India (IFFI), to be held from November 20 in Goa.

The producer, who recently presented Gautam Menon's 'Life Of Muthu', said that he saw a lot of potential in the movie when the story was narrated by the director.

"'Kida' is a Tamil film but its sensibilities are universal. This was our first Tamil movie and the story is about a grandson-grandfather duo. For the sake of his grandson, the grandfather resolves to do something as a challenge. That's what the film is about," Ravikishore said.

Presented by Krishna Chaitanya, the film had M Jayaprakash, Chukkapalli Venu, Theeson, Anand Geraldin, and others working on it.
