Kiran Abbavaram awaits the theatrical release of 'Nenu Meeku Baaga Kavalsinavaadini' this Friday (September 16). The film's pre-release event was held in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the makers said that the entertainer would be released on 550 screens in the Telugu States. The film is produced by Kodi Divya, who is Kodi Ramakrishna's daughter.

Chief guest and senior producer Shyam Prasad Reddy remembered Kodi Ramakrishna and his legacy. "Ramakrishna garu made 143 films in his illustrious career. He was a great talent whom I knew for 35 years. In 2005, when I was in a financially uncomfortable position, I went to him and told him about my problems. He promised to make a surefire hit film with me, a film that will bail me out of my problems. The film is 'Arundhati'. Not a day passes by without me remembering him. He will always be close to my heart. All my films were directed by him. He was my best friend. He was my mentor, philosopher, and guide. I am here today because of him. I am sure that his daughter, Divya, will never go wrong. 'Nenu Meeku..' will surely become a big hit," Reddy added.

Cinematographer Raj K Nelli described the film as a content-oriented family entertainer.

Sonu Thakur, the second female lead, said, "The producer treated me like a sister. I am very happy to have done this movie as my debut outing."

Sanjana Anand said that the film has got prominence for her character.

The event had in attendance actor Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas and 'Bimbisara' director Vassishta as guests.

Kiran Abbavaram said, "I am happy to have associated with director Sridhar Gadde. Everyone is going to appreciate the emotions in our movie. The track with Baba Bhaskar in the second half is going to entertain you all."
