Bollywood, as well as the Internet, can't keep calm as one of the most-loved celebrity couples – Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor – will reportedly get married this week in Mumbai. Alia and Ranbir's romance is nothing less than a fairy tale. It started with shooting a film together, now titled Brahmastra, and the duo fell in love with each other in no time. And, here we are, now, getting excited about their rumoured wedding. It has been reported that the guest list has 40 names, comprising family members and close friends. The wedding will have a number of SOPs to maintain the privacy of the couple.

1- It Started On Brahmastra Set
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor met on the sets of Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra and fell in love. The film marks their first project together.
2- First Appearance At Sonam Kapoor's Wedding Reception In 2018
Rumours about Alia Bhatt dating Ranbir started when the duo made a stunning appearance together at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding reception on May 9 in Mumbai. Alia, looking stunning as ever in a green lehenga, posed happily with Ranbir Kapoor at the wedding and even posted a photo of themselves on her Instagram. She didn't reveal much about their relationship in the caption but it was quite evident that the two looked happy in each other's company.
3- A Heartwarming Birthday Post For Sunshine “Ranbir Kapoor”
After thrilling the Internet by making an appearance together at Sonam Kapoor's reception, Alia shared a heartwarming birthday post for Ranbir Kapoor on Instagram and called him “sunshine.”
4- From Alia to Ranbir At Filmfare Awards: “I Love You”
Alia Bhatt made Ranbir and others blush after she said “I love you” to him at the Filmfare Award in 2019. One moment from the show even captures the duo sharing a hug and the actress giving him a kiss on the cheek.
5- A Vacation Together
Alia went on a vacation with Ranbir and their close friend Ayan Mukerji to a beach location in January 2020. She even updated her Instagram feed with fun-filled pictures from their get-together.
6- “Would Have Been Sealed If Pandemic Had Not Hit”
During an interview with film critic Rajeev Masand, Ranbir of sorts confirmed his wedding plans with Alia and said, “It would have already been sealed if the pandemic hadn't hit our lives. But I don't want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal soon in my life."

At the trailer launch event of Brahmastra, Ranbir asked Alia the million-dollar question: "Humari shaadi kab hogi?" and made her blush. The duo also shared several mushy moments at the event.
8- Alia Revealed She Wanted To Marry Ranbir Since She Saw Him Onscreen As A Little Girl
During an interview with India Today earlier this year, Alia had said: “When I saw him for the first time on screen, that was the day I decided that I wanted to marry him. That was when I was a sweet little girl. But that's what I meant and I feel it's a state of mind.”

During an interview with NDTV earlier this year, Ranbir said: “I won't give out a date. But Alia and I have all the intentions of getting married soon, so yes, hopefully soon."
10. Alia Bhatt Student of the Year Rapid Fire Round
On her debut at Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan (Season 4), Alia took Ranbir Kapoor's name when asked during the rapid-fire round who she wants at her swayamvar. She took Ranbir's name first, followed by Salman Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur.
