The promotions of Ayan Mukerji's magnum opus Brahmastra are in full swing and how. After promoting the film in Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad, the film's lead actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt scooped some time out of their busy schedules and flew to Ujjain to visit the Mahakaleshwar Temple along with director Ayan Mukerji. Alia Bhatt also shared a video on Instagram, in which she said, "Hello, we are back once again with some more information, Firstly, we are on our way to Ujjain, Mahakaleshwar Temple." Ayan Mukerji added, "Which I am very excited about right on the eve of our release." Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji were also clicked at the Mumbai airport. In the video Alia also revealed that the film's preview tickets "sold out very quickly," so the makers have opened another screen for the film's preview.

In the first leg of the Astra universe of films, Ranbir Kapoor's character Shiva is a part of the mighty Brahmastra. He is represented by the element fire. Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna are the protectors of the Brahmastra, while Mouni Roy represents the dark forces that wish to attain the Brahmastra.
