National Award goes to Allu Arjun; 'RRR', 'Uppena' make TFI proud

The 69th National Film Awards were announced on Thursday. Telugu talents expectedly won awards in a number of categories.

The Best Actor Award has been bagged by Allu Arjun for his performance in 'Pushpa: The Rise'. Expectations were running high in anticipation of the award on Thursday. Bunny winning the award raises the bar for 'Pushpa 2'.

'Pushpa' also won an award in another category: Best Music Director (Songs). Devi Sri Prasad won the award.

'Uppena' won the Best Feature Film in Telugu award. 'RRR' dominated the scene otherwise.

Best Dance Choreographer: Prem Rakshit for 'Naatu Naatu' in 'RRR'

Best Special Effects: V Srinivas Mohan for 'RRR'

Best Feature Film: Rocketry: 'The Nambi Effect' (directed by R Madhavan)
