Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) 2024 launched lavishly at Burj Khalifa

The commencement ceremony of the 10th season of Celebrity Cricket League was a glitzy affair in Dubai on Friday. The season's promo was launched at Burj Khalifa, one of the most famous landmarks in the world.

Thaman and Sudheer Babu (from the Telugu industry), Kiccha Sudeepa (representing the Kannada film industry), Sohail Khan (from Bollywood), Arya, Jeeva (from the Tamil cinema), Jisshu Sengupta (of the Bengal industry), Bunnu Dhillon, Sonu Sood (from Punjab), Indrajit Sukumaran and Unni Mukundhan (from Malayalam) witnessed the event LIVE. They will captain the respective teams.

Celebrity Cricket League is a blend of film glamour and cricket, the most-loved Indian sport. This is the only sports league in India seeing the participation of nearly two hundred actors from eight industries. Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Founder and Managing Director of CCL said, “CCL has been entertaining since its inception. The growth of the league every year in terms of scale and popularity is a reflection of the passion of the players. CCL 2024 is going to be bigger than ever."

When is the league taking off?

On February 23 in Sharjah.

The tournament will be telecast live on Sony Sports Ten 5, Jio Cinema and multiple regional channels.
