Nomination tasks in the Bigg Boss house are never a pleasant watch. On Bigg Boss 16, there are distinct groups of friends who often nominate members from the other side at the first given opportunity. Things were no different this time around too with Nimrit Kaur nominating Ankit Gupta citing that the actor has no game of his own. She said that the only way Ankit has come so far is thanks to his friend, co-star and fellow housemate Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. While nominating him, Nimrit said: “He asks people to play their own game. He, however, was always in Priyanka Chahar Choudhary's shadow and has managed to save him so far thanks to her,” before stating candidly that he makes the least contribution and only survived because of Priyanka's support.
Ankit Gupta did not take things lying down and retorted: “You are able to say all this and escape nominations all thanks to your friends.”
However, Ankit Gupta had nothing to fear since he was saved from nomination by Soundarya Sharma. Hinting at Ankit being saved by Soundarya, MC Stan said that Ankit is always saved by Priyanka, Soundarya or Sajid Khan. This was seconded by Shiv Thakare.
At the end of the nomination task, Shiv Thakare, Tina Datta, Shalin Bhanot and Sajid Khan are voted for elimination this week. Nimrit Kaur was saved by Soundarya from elimination.
After the nomination task, Sajid Khan is also seen insinuating that Nimrit Kaur always manages to save herself while the rest of them get nominated. Nimrit asks why he is upset that she is saved, but Sajid Khan says that no one should question him when he says Ankit, the next time.
Meanwhile, Tina Datta was eliminated from the house last week but returned just a day later when Shalin Bhanot sacrificed Rs 25 lakh to save Tina and bring her back to the house. However, on entering the house, she accused Shalin of being fake. “I know everything you were doing in the house. You were dancing and singing songs… I had to get a reality check and I have got it now,” she said to a shocked Shalin.
