Narasimha Nandi's 'Siggu' launched - Deets inside

'Siggu' is the title of a film to be directed by the award-winning filmmaker Narasimha Nandi of '1940 Lo Oka Gramam' fame. It is produced by Bhimavaram Talkies and is based on a Telugu novel written by Chalam. The launch event was graced by 'JD' Lakshminarayana, the former bureaucrat, as the chief guest. 'RRR' and 'Baahubali' writer Vijayendra Prasad, senior director VV Vinayak, producers C Kalyan-Damodara Prasad duo were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, producer Ramasatyanarayana said, "I have been in the film industry for the past 20 years. C Kalyan was the person who embraced me as a friend from the beginning. I am moving ahead with his support."

'JD' Lakshminarayana said, "I am here to encourage this socially conscious film. We ought not to make films that spoil the society. The onus is on this movie's team to make a good movie."

Director Narasimha Nandi thanked the producer for believing him and expressed satisfaction over teaming up with him again. "I am making this movie based on Chalam's novel 'Susheela'. I have retained my comfort team," he added.
