Ranbir Kapoor ended his four-year-long on-screen hiatus with his latest release Shamshera, and fans are truly impressed. The actor ditched his urban, chocolate boy image to engage us with a mesmerising performance in the period, fantasy drama. The action entertainer, set in the 1800s, narrates the tale of a dacoit tribe with Ranbir Kapoor's character playing the leader. In addition to Ranbir in a double role, Shamshera also stars Vaani Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Ronit Roy, and Ashutosh Rana. The Yash Raj production is helmed by Karan Malhotra and has Ranbir Kapoor pulling off some chic action scenes and dance moves.

3. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani - Netflix
There is nothing you can dislike about the 2013 release, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's chemistry as Bunny and Naina leaves a warm feeling in your heart, every time you watch it. The film proved to be a commercial success, and Ranbir made us connect with his character at multiple levels.
4. Barfi! – Netflix
Barfi! is one of the Ranbir Kapoor's most appreciated performances. The beautiful tale that shows us that love knows no boundaries will make you laugh and cry in equal measure, and Ranbir and Priyanka Chopra's inspired performances play no small part in this.
5. Sanju - Disney + Hotstar
Ranbir Kapoor was last seen on the big screen in Sanju, a biopic on actor Sanjay Dutt. The film explored some of the most crucial chapters from the actor's dramatic and controversial life. Ranbir Kapoor portrayed Dutt with gravitas, spunk and absolute ease.
