'Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi' will be heart-touching: Makers

The pre-release event of 'Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi’ was held in Hyderabad in the presence of the film's cast and crew. 'Major' actor Adivi Sesh, 'Waltair Veerayya' maker Bobby Kolli, writer-producer Kona Venkat, and star director Maruthi made it to the event as guests. The film will be released in theatres on March 17.

On the occasion, the film's trailer was unveiled. At more than two minutes, it shows the changing contours of the relationship between Sanjay (Naga Shaurya) and Anupama (Malvika Nair).

Speaking on the occasion, editor Kiran Ganti said that he has worked on all of Srinivas Avasarala-directed movies so far.

Dialogue writer Lakshmi Bhupala, who has also penned the song 'Kanula Chaatu Meghama', thanked the audience for making the Kalyani Malik melody a chartbuster. Lyricist Bhaskarbhatla, who penned three other songs in the movie, was also present.

Guest and writer BVS Ravi said that 'PAPA' will impress the audience with its classical touches. Kona Venkat said revealed that Nani's 'Ninnu Kori' was shot in the house of the producers of 'PAPA'. That film was co-written by Kona himself.

Malvika Nair said, “With Naga Shaurya, it has been a delight to work with. Srinivas Avasarala has immense knowledge of literature."

Bobby Kolli lauded TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory for making "solid films". He also talked about Naga Shaurya's dedication as an actor.

'Ala Modalaindi' director Nandini Reddy not only lauded the production house but also spoke about the talent of the lead pair. She has previously worked with them on 'Kalyana Vaibhogame' (2016).

Adivi Sesh said that Vivek Kuchibotla (co-producer at the banner) and Vishwa Prasad are his producers and saviours. He described 'PAPA' as an interesting film.

Srinivas Avasarala thanked Kalyani Malik for the wonderful music. "Vivek Kuchibotla’s positive energy is perpetuating everyone. Vishwa Prasad gave immense support. We also did sync sound for the film. Malvika Nair explored her vulnerable side in the film and excelled at it," he added.

Naga Shaurya said, “This film is a definitive blockbuster. There were script revisions to make things perfect. 'PAPA' will remain forever in your hearts.”
