Shah Rukh Khan's elder son Aryan Khan has finally taken the plunge into filmmaking. The superstar has always maintained that Aryan wants to be a filmmaker and his daughter Suhana Khan an actor. Now, Aryan is reportedly working on a web series and feature film for Red Chillies Entertainment. As per a report in Pinkvilla, the star kid did a test shoot for his web series on Friday and Saturday at a studio in Mumbai. However, he is yet to decide on the shooting dates.
"Besides writing the project, Aryan will also be directing it. He had taken complete charge at the test shoot that took place on Friday and Saturday. As a part of his and the crew's prep, Aryan wanted to bring everyone together and understand the project before they actually start shooting for it. He is very passionate about this yet untitled show, and has already begun work on the pre-production. They will finalise the actual shooting dates soon," Pinkvilla quoted the source saying.
The report added that Jersey actor Prit Kamani was also spotted on the set. However, we have to wait for an official announcement.
Meanwhile, last year, Aryan Khan was in the news after he was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drugs-on-cruise case on October 3. The 23-year-old spent 25 days in jail before the Bombay High Court granted him bail on October 29, 2021.
Talking about Aryan Khan's interest in direction, Shah Rukh Khan told DNA, "He's writing, directing and learning stuff for four years. It's one of the highest levels of studies at the University of Southern California to become a film-maker."
Apart from Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan is also stepping into the entertainment industry. As per reports, she will make her debut with Zoya Akhtar's web series based on Archie Comics. Lately, she was spotted with Boney Kapoor and Sridevi's youngest daughter, Khushi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda at the set in Mumbai.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in Siddharth Anand's Pathaan, co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Also, he has Atlee's untitled with Nayanthara.
