'Record Break', directed by Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao and produced by Chadalavada Padmavati under the banner of Sri Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara Films, will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and a few other languages on March 8. Nihar Kapoor and Ragdha Iftakar will be seen in lead roles.

Speaking on the occasion, Chadavalada said that 'Record Break' was in the making for five years. "I have made a number of movies over the past few decades. Never did I urge the audience to watch them. For the first time, I am going out of my way to market a directorial of mine. That's because 'Record Break' is a well-meaning film. If the morning-show collections are good, by evening, our film will enjoy positive word of mouth. Please spread the word about our movie if you like its content. More than a hero-heroine film, this is a drama. I can proudly say that this is a very good movie. If 'Record Break' succeeds at the box-office, many more filmmakers will be motivated to enter the industry," he said.

If 'Record Break' works, Chadalavada has plans to make a global film that will outpace the quality and standards of Warner Bros' movies.

T Prasanna Kumar of Telugu Film Producers Council spoke of Chadalavada's philanthropic activities. He added that 'Record Break' will make the Telugus proud. "How two orphans go on to participate in the world wrestling championship is what the film is about," he added.

Nihar Kapoor said that the kind of effort that went into the movie will become evident only when it is watched on the big screen. The film touches upon elements like farmer issues, mother sentiment, patriotism and beyond.

Ragdha Iftakar, too, spoke of the highlights of 'Record Break'.
