It has only been a week since Animal hit cinema screens, and the movie has already joined the Rs 300-crore club. In the first seven days of its release, the film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna has earned Rs 338.63 crore (all languages), according to Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh. The collection of the Hindi rendition is Rs 300.81 crore. "Animal is sensational... Packs an extraordinary total in week 1...Third biggest 7 days of all time. Biggest 7-day total for a film released on non-holiday. Biggest 7-day total for a film that faced a clash with another film. Highest grossing 'A' certified film," wrote Taran Adarsh. Breaking down the film's box office progress report, he wrote, "Fri 54.75 cr, Sat 58.37 cr, Sun 63.46 cr, Mon 40.06 cr, Tue 34.02 cr, Wed 27.80 cr, Thu 22.35 cr. Total: Rs 300.81 cr. Hindi version."
Taran Adarsh also shared the numbers collected by the Non-Hindi versions of the film and wrote, "South Indian languages Fri 9.05 cr, Sat 8.90 cr, Sun 7.23 cr, Mon 4.41 cr, Tue 3.80 cr, Wed 2.65 cr, Thu 1.78 cr. Total: Rs 37.82 cr. Nett BOC. All languages total Rs 338.63 cr Nett BOC." He also compared the film's weekly box office numbers with Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan and Sunny Deol's Gadar 2.

Apart from Ranbir and Rashmika in the lead roles, the film also stars Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri, who play important roles in Animal.
Animal clashed with Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur. Both films were released on December 1.
