It is Sidharth Shukla's birth anniversary today and tributes are flowing in from all quarters. Actress-singer Shehnaaz Gill too remembered the late actor on the occasion, sharing an image of the star with a short but moving note. In her Instagram post, Shehnaaz chose an image of Sidharth in a suit. In the caption, she wrote, “I will see you again. 12 12,” with a heart and angel emoji. Shehnaaz and Sidharth, who were a part of the reality show Bigg Boss, were rumoured to be in a relationship at the time of his death in 2021. The actor, who died of a cardiac arrest in September last year, would have been 42 today. Replying to the post, Shehnaaz's brother Badesha Shahbaz dropped heart emojis. Stylist Ken Ferns, a friend of both Shehnaaz and Sidharth, said, “Always and forever. And let's celebrate all the best memories of togetherness. Cheers my friend. A few weeks ago, Shehnaaz Gill dedicated an award she received to Sidharth Shukla. The actress received the Rising Star of Bollywood award at the Filmfare Middle East Achievers. In her acceptance speech. She said, "Main apne family, apne friends aur meri team ko bilkul bhi nahi dedicate karungi kyuki yeh meri mehnat hai. (I'll not dedicate this (award) to my family, friends or team because this is my hard work)." Looking at the award, Shehnaaz added, "Aur tu mera hai aur mera hi rahega, theek hai (You are mine and you will always be mine. Okay),” a line that she had said to Sidharth Shukla during their Bigg Boss stint.
Later, Shehnaaz Gill added, "Ek cheeze aur. Main ek bande ko thank you bolna chahti hun. Thank you mere life mein aane k liye aur mere pe itna invest kiya ki aaj main yahan pe pahuchi hun. Sidharth Shukla, this is for you. (One more thing. I want to say thank you to someone. Thank you for coming into my life. You invested so much in me that today I've reached here)."
