It's Vijay Varma's world, and we are just living in it. Agree? With a hat trick of stellar performances in Dahaad, Lust Stories 2, and Kaalkoot, the actor is on a roll. He is now gearing up for the release of not one but two murder mysteries with the glamorous Kapoor sisters. Vijay Varma will next be seen in Jaane Jaan, a crime-thriller based on Japanese author Keigo Higashino's novel The Devotion of Suspect X. The trailer of the Netflix film was released today. In Jaane Jaan, he will share the screen space with Kareena Kapoor and Jaideep Ahlawat. Jaane Jaan also marks his second project with director Sujoy Ghosh, after Lust Stories 2. On the other hand, Vijay Varma has Murder Mubarak with Kareena's sister, actress Karisma Kapoor, lined up.
Vijay Varma, in a recent interview, spoke about working with the Kapoor sisters. The actor said that his experience “has been like a fairy tale.” He told News18, “Kareena and Karisma have years of experience behind them, which is amazing. They know the business and the camera and they understand how to work around it so beautifully. It was delightful to just watch the both of them at work. I managed to have informal, off-camera moments with them which were very nice as well. I grew up watching and seeti maaroing to both of their films and to work with them now has been like a fairy tale.”
Meanwhile, Netflix shared the trailer of Jaane Jaan on Instagram. “It's almost time… 21st September! See you Jaane Jaan,” read the caption. The film also marks Kareena Kapoor Khan's OTT debut.
