'Bholaa Shankar', directed by Meher Ramesh, resumed its shoot on January 17. Since then, some scenes and a song have been shot. While Tamannaah Bhatia is yet to join the unit, Keerthy Suresh (who is playing Chiranjeevi's sister in the movie) has been shooting alongside the Megastar for a family song with hundreds of junior artists on a set resembling the locales of Kolkata in Hyderabad.

A while ago, AK Entertainments revealed that Team Bholaa Shankar hosted director K Raghavendra Rao. The prolific and highly-regarded filmmaker dropped by because he wanted to congratulate the Megastar on 'Waltair Veerayya' becoming a smash hit.

The team of the film regards his visit as a lucky charm, considering the 'Darsakendrudu' was also there on the sets of 'Choodalani Vundi', the 1998 movie in which Chiru played the lead role. Rao was witness to the shoot of 'Ramma Chilakamma' song back then.

'Bholaa Shankar', a remake, has got fights choreographed by the Ram-Laxman duo, Dileep Subbarayan, and Kaeche Kampakdee.
