Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii is one of the most iconic shows in the history of Indian television and has inspired several other projects over the years. Now, the show that made Sakshi Tanwar a household name with her role as Parvati is returning to the television screen, producer Ekta Kapoor announced on Instagram. Beginning August 2, the show will air from Monday to Sunday at 3:30 pm on Star Plus, Ekta said in her post. Along with the announcement, she also looked back on how she began this journey. Sharing a promo of the serial, Ekta Kapoor said, “I was this young, ambitious 25-year-old TV producer who was trying to make a mark in the entertainment world…. I was determined to create something really big that could make a difference in society… I've always looked for inspiration in real people around me, and that's how the journey of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii began.
Sharing details, Ekta Kapoor added, "After much persuasion, Sakshi agreed to essay the role of Parvati, who went on to become India's favourite bahu along with Tulsi. I am super excited to announce that StarPlus is bringing back KGGK, India's most-loved Kahaani on August 2, Monday to Sunday at 3:30 pm.”
Ekta Kapoor also tagged actors Anup Soni and Mohnish Bahl in the post. Fans of the show welcomed the news with joy and expressed the same in the comments section.
Ekta Kapoor often shares updates of her upcoming projects on Instagram. She recently shared a video of her grooving to a song from her next project Ek Villain Returns. In the caption, Ekta said, “Felt cute will never delete as I'm cute always! As I indulge in self-love you guys enjoy naterebin from Ek Villain Returns.”
Work-related posts aside, Ekta Kapoor also often shares images with her family. Sharing an image with her brother Tusshar Kapoor, Ekta said, “Date nights in Dubai with d siblings who got d better deal with d genes. Fitter brother hopefully funner sistaaa.”
In another post, she shared an image of her brother Tusshar Kapoor bonding with his son, Laksshya Kapoor. In the caption, Ekta Kapoor just dropped three evil-eye amulet emojis.
