Abhishek Bachchan is on a roll while promoting his upcoming film Dasvi. After sharing numerous posters of the movie on Instagram, the actor has now made an appearance on the TV reality show India's Got Talent. There, he also showed off his dance moves on stage. But he wasn't alone. One of the show's judges, Shilpa Shetty, matched steps with Abhishek. The duo danced to the title track of their 2005 movie, Dus. They performed the hook step of the song Dus Bahane Karke Le Gaye Dil and nailed it. While Shilpa was clad in a red dress, Abhishek wore a white jacket and black trousers.
Bothe of them shared the clip on Instagram and wrote, “Now that we're Here Now, Here Now Dus Bahane chhodke, Dasvi dekho now.”
Abhishek Bachchan also shared a photo-dump on Instagram from the show. In the images, we could see him with his Dasvi co-stars, Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur. He was also seen dancing with India's Got Talent judge Kirron Kher. The actor wrote, "Had a wonderful time on India's Got Talent with some of my favourite people."
Recently, Abhishek Bachchan fulfilled one of his year-long promises. For the first screening of Dasvi, Abhishek chose Agra Central Jail. Surprised? FYI: Dasvi was shot in this jail. Abhishek had promised that once the movie was ready, he would screen it for the first time in this jail. And, he stood by his words. In the beginning of the clip, we see Abhishek addressing the jail guards and inmates, “Jaise yeh film taiyaar ho jaye, main chahunga ki jab pehli baar yeh bade parde par dikhe toh hum Agra main akaar aap sab ke beech main baith kar yeh picture dekhay (Once the film is ready, I wish to play it on the big screen for the first time in Agra, here, and watch it with all of you here).”
Abhishek Bachchan received many shoutouts after releasing the trailer of the film. His father, actor Amitabh Bachchan, reposted it and wrote, “The Pride of a Father ...in film after film he surprises all with the incredible portrayal of totally different characters ... it's phenomenal to be able to do that so successfully.”
In Dasvi, Abhishek Bachchan plays the role of a convicted chief minister, who wants to appear for the class 10 board exam from jail.
