At the 2023 Berlin International Film Festival, the web-series Dahaad opened to a "thunderous response," going by the posts shared by the film's cast. The series' lead actors Sonakshi Sinha and Vijay Varma shared pictures from their red carpet moments from the Berlin International Film Festival, also called the Berlinale. Sonakshi, posting pictures with Vijay Varma, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, wrote: "Berlinale. What an experience and so many firsts... My first time working with this incredible bunch of people, my first time at a film festival and of course my first series." She added, "What an overwhelming response after the screening! I am so grateful this happened... Thank you Reema Kagti, Zoya Akhtar for trusting me with Anjali Bhaati - she's my favvvvv."

Meanwhile, Vijay Varma shared these pictures from the film festival and he wrote in his caption: "We roared at the Berlinale. Dahaad was screened here to such thunderous response. We are all beaming with excitement and joy." In the comments section of Vijay's post, Gulshan Devaiah, who also stars in the series and was MIA at the film fest, wrote: "I was there under your chair, in your drink and in the air. Ya feel me ?" Vijay Varma replied: "We couldn't stop talking about you."
Vijay Varma also shared pictures of his red carpet OOTD and he wrote in his caption: "Felt cute might spam more. Dahaad at Berlinale."
Dahaad is a crime-thriller that showcases the story of a fearless cop named Anjali Bhaati played by Sonakshi Sinha. Other than Vijay Varma, the show also features Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Shah in pivotal roles. The series, produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Films, has been directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi.
