Jersey Postponed Once again to avoid clash with KGF 2 & Beast

'Jersey,' starring Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur, has been postponed again. This much-anticipated film planned to release on April 14th. But south biggies like Beast and KGF 2 are both releasing at the same time worldwide. To avoid clashes with the most anticipated projects and to avert losses, the stakeholders decided at midnight to change the release date to April 22.
Bookings for Jersey are far lower than for KGF 2 in the North, and many people in the South are unaware of the film. It is the best decision to avert a clash with Mammoths such as KGF 2.
"Jersey" is produced by Allu Aravind, Dil Raju, and Kapoor's producer pal Aman Gill.
"Jersey," directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, who also directed the original, tells the story of a talented but failed cricketer (Kapoor) who resolves to return to the pitch in his late 30s in order to represent India and satisfy his son's wish for a jersey as a gift.
