You must be living under a rock if you haven't heard about Imran Khan's “1 million likes” comeback challenge. Replying to a fan's comment on veteran actress Zeenat Aman's Instagram post, Imran Khan suggested that he is open for a comeback. The actor wrote, “Chalo Aditi, let's leave this to the Internet…1M likes, and I'll make it happen [shake hands emoji].” The statement was enough to send the Internet into a tizzy. Since then, Imran Khan's fans are on a mission to hit the 1 million target and make his comeback a reality. Well, we have an update in store for you. In a post on Threads, Imran Khan said that he is “working on it” and thanked fans for “being so patient” with him. He wrote, “To whom it may concern; I hear you and I am working on it. Thank you for being so patient with me.” To this, one of the fans replied: “We want Luck - 2.” Luck, released in 2009, featured Imran Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Shruti Haasan, Mithun Chakraborty, Danny Denzongpa and Ravi Kishan. Sharing a screenshot of the post on Instagram, Imran Khan said, “I guess that's what I get for posting on Threads.” Actress Mithila Palkar wrote, “Wheeeee.” Fans have also shared their thoughts in the comments section.
Referring to some of Imran Khan's finest works, a user wrote, “Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na- 2, I Hate Luv Storys - 2, Break Ke Baad - 2 pleaseeeeeeee.” Another added, “Imran Khan as a modern-day rom-com hero?” “We need a romcom” was the sentiment in the comments. “Comeback, Imran Khan, please. Only your comeback can fix me now.” read a comment. A few pointed out that Imran Khan has posted for the first time in five years. A user wrote, “He found his password after 5 years.”
Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan also shared Imran Khan's post on Instagram Stories. Alongside, she wrote, “All you people who asked me about Imran Bhai in the ‘ask me anything'... here.” Imran Khan is Aamir Khan's nephew.

It all started when Zeenat Aman posted an advertisement featuring herself on Instagram. One of the fans named Aditi wrote, “Zeenat ji ne bhi comeback karlia, patani mera Imran Khan kab karega. [Even Zeenat Aman has made a comeback, wondering when Imran Khan will make one too].” Replying to Aditi, Imran Khan hinted towards his comeback.
Imran Khan is known for films like Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, Delhi Belly, Luck, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, I Hate Luv Storys and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. He was last seen in Katti Batti alongside Kangana Ranaut in 2015. Three years later, he directed a short film Mission Mars: Keep Walking India, which turned out to be his last mainstream cinematic endeavour.
