It's bold, unapologetic and as promised, oh so lustful. Yes, we are talking about the newly released trailer of Lust Stories 2. If you thought the teaser was a delight to the eyes, then you are surely in for a bigger treat. The trailer of Lust Stories 2 opens with the voice-over of Neena Gupta as we are introduced to the stellar cast. While Kajol, Tillotama Shome and Mrunal Thakur light up the screen with their presence, we cannot help but swoon over the brewing romance between Tamannaah and Vijay. But here comes the twist. Vijay's character is married. So as emphasized by Vijay Varma earlier on Twitter, will he play a nice guy in this instalment of Lust Stories? And most importantly, will love triumph over lust? To know the answers, one has to wait till June 29.

One of the lead pairs of Lust Stories 2, Tamannaah and Vijay have created quite a stir over their alleged relationship offscreen. So, when the two actors featured together in a sultry photoshoot ahead of the release of the Netflix project, the images went viral in no time. In the pictures, Vijay Varma is seen in a suit, while Tamannaah is dressed in an all-black ensemble. The images – shared by Netflix – come with the caption, “Your Tamannaah [desire] to watch this chemistry come to life has come true.”

During an interview with Film Companion recently, Tamannaah said that Vijay Varma is "a person who I care about deeply and he's my happy place." Tamannaah explained, "I don't think you can get attracted to someone just because they are your co-star. I have had so many co-stars. I think if one has to fall for someone, feel something for someone it's definitely more personal, it's nothing to do with what they do for a living, I mean that's not the reason why this would happen." About Vijay Varma, she added, “He [Vijay Varma] is someone with whom I bonded very organically. He is someone who really came to me with all his guard down, then it became really easy for me to let all my guard down.”

Lust Stories explores the concepts of modern-day relationships and the varying degrees of complexities that come with it . Lust Stories 2 is an anthology of four stories directed by ace directors Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sen Sharma, R Balki and Sujoy Ghosh. The cast includes Kajol, Vijay Varma, Tamannaah, Mrunal Thakur, Angad Bedi, Tillotama Shome, Amruta Subhash, Neena Gupta and Kumud Mishra. Lust Stories 2 will be streaming on Netflix from June 29.
