The Hindi-language film 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' was released in theatres today. The action-thriller, written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, stars Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles.

As per the Hindustan Times, the talk among the public is divided. If there are those bashing the film as ‘unbearable’ (and this is the majority), there are others who are calling it ‘mind-blowing’. The film's screenplay is written by Ali Abbas Zafar and Aditya Basu.

"On the technical front, the editing department failed to keep the movie crisp and sharp. While the camera work is fine, in a few places it lacked to showcase the grandeur of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The music has turned out to be a huge disappointment," Firstpost opined in its review. The Hindu felt that the lead men simply joust in this "loud and clear mass entertainer".

What is its premise? "Elite soldiers Firoz and Rakesh embark on a globe-trotting mission to recover a stolen weapon from Kabir, an ambitious and revenge-seeking scientist, who is keen on using AI to destroy India," a synopsis of the film on Wikipedia says.
