One kiss and the conversations around it refuse to die. Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi's on-screen kiss in Karan Johar's directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has become the talking point of the movie. Months after the movie released in the theatres, the kiss has remained the talk of the town. After Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Hema Malini, Esha Deol shared her reaction about the kiss in her interview with Zoom. Esha told Zoom, "There's a barrier or age for love or kissing - who said so? He is the coolest! He is so handsome. Papa, by nature, is very romantic; he will do his shayari and everything. He has always been that way. Shabanaji is fantastic and I have a huge soft spot for Jaya aunty. Karan Johar is amazing; it was shot beautifully and they are all professional actors."
Asked if Esha saw the movie as an audience or Dharmendra's daughter, Esha replied, "No a lot of portions I couldn't watch like an audience member because I am his daughter; there were lot of emotional scenes, and it wasn't easy, but I wanted to watch the film."
A few days back, Hema Malini won the hearts of the Internet with her reply to a "kiss" question. The veteran actor was asked by India.com whether she would be comfortable kissing on-screen now like her husband. Hema Malini replied, "Kyun nahi karenge, bilkul karenge. (Why not, why won't I do, will take this up) If it is nice, if it is relatable and gels with the film, maybe I can."
Dharmendra talked about the scene at the success bash of Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and said, "Yeh toh mere baayen haath ka khel hai (this is such an easy task for me). Bohut maza aaya (had a great deal of fun)." He added, "Jab jab mauka milta hai, chhakka maar deta hoon (whenever I get an opportunity, I make full use of it)."
